# Executive Summary DriveSafe is the world’s first Web3 Navigation App where drivers are rewarded by driving safely and obeying traffic laws. By observing the speed limits whilst carrying out routine journeys’ and by evolving their NFT assets, motorists are able to accumulate rewards via our web3 ecosystem. Businesses can switch away from outdated and dedicated hardware tracking solutions and use DriveSafe instead to track their drivers. As parents, we were concerned about how many people around the world are killed in car accidents every year as a direct result of driving at excessive speeds. Also, as a group of crypto enthusiasts, we came up with the idea of offering drivers the opportunity to be rewarded by driving safely and responsibly through the use of blockchain and other state of the art technology. Statistics show that there are around 1.35 million Road Traffic related fatalities each year. The Drive Safe concept was born from the idea to use Blockchain technology to make the roads a safer place. In addition to improving Road Safety, research shows that driving within the speed limit is also better for the environment as it: Reduces fuel consumption, reduces emissions of pollutants, particularly reducing NOx and particulate matter (PM) output from diesel vehicles, paving the way for and leaving the planet in a better state for the future generations. # Getting Started Download & Install The User journey during install will depend on the user type. There will be 2 main interfaces within the App. The App will have 2 interfaces, one which is for domestic motorists and another for business users. The **Domestic** motorist part of the App will be a Navigation platform with a simple user interface, it will function very similarly to other established Market leading solutions, with the addition of web3 integration (Driving Safe Rewards and NFT integration). The **Business user** part of the App will be more comprehensive and will depend on the type of business select at time of setup.
# Domestic Users
**Download and Install** For IOS devices, go to the App Store, then search for, download and install the DriveSafe App For Android devices, go to Google Play Store, then search for, download and install the DriveSafe App. \ **Select Account Type** Select either Business or **Domestic**. \ **Create Account** After installing, you will be prompted to create an account (using your email address), use the credentials created here to sign in. Creating an account also enables personalisation features (such as Favourites, setting Home and Work locations). After creating an account, the user will be able to use the App for free. \ **Create Wallet** After this, you will be given the option to create a wallet, creating a wallet will allow you to buy an NFT and start being rewarded when driving safely. \ **Purchase Car** After creating a wallet, you will be given the option to buy an NFT from the Marketplace. Buying an NFT will enable you to benefit from enhanced earning opportunities and an optimum realistic in-app experience. \ **No Wallet? No NFT? No problem!** DriveSafe will still be usable as a Navigation App without a wallet, however personalisation features and rewards will not be available. \ **Domestic User Features** The **Domestic** motorist part of the App will be a Navigation platform with a simple user interface, it will function very similarly to other established Market leading solutions, with the addition of web3 integration (Safe Driving Rewards and NFT integration). As well as having a state of the Art Navigation platform, Domestic Users will also be able to: * Interact with other DriveSafe community drivers. * See other drivers (nearby) on the map. * Update each other on hazards, traffic and other conditions. * Exchange live updates with other users. * Benefit further down the line from being able to pay for road services direct from their wallet (parking, road tolls etc). * State of the art AI integration for powered voice recognition, personalised routes. predictive routing, image recognition, real time parking availability, a multi-purpose assistant for all your needs.

Many approaches are used to harvest this information, ranging from the use of blackboxes (telematics), looking up driver records from Road Traffic Authorities or using proprietary solutions. DriveSafe provides a platform on which this data can be stored and shared on an immutable blockchain infrastructure, making it easily accessible, and represented in a way that is tailored for the business use case. * Having driver data stored and available on the blockchain provides huge benefit to companies, as they will all have a common and comprehensive dataset for each driver. * No more fixed costs of installing custom hardware solutions for your business drivers. * Required updates/new features can be centrally managed without having to visit each driver/device. * Interact with your customers or employees on a more personal level, establish loyalty, with NFTs and giving tangible rewards for driving safely. # DriveSafe App The DriveSafe App is primarily a Satellite Navigation App, this will be the main focus, since there is already a proven use case and demand for this type of Mobile App. Also, since most people will only really use their phone in their car by loading their SatNav at the start of a journey, we decided to use this as the basis of our Design. Within the DriveSafe navigation App, there will be: An integrated wallet, Marketplace, An NFT inventory page (MyNFTs) and Dashboard/overview. Whilst we recognize that many people just want to use a good SatNav (which is what DriveSafe will be), there will be inbuilt incentives which will be designed to bring users into the DriveSafe ecosystem. **Incentive 1** - Create an account: The 1st incentive will be at the point of install, where a user will be prompted to create a login. The incentives to drive adoption at this stage are: Unlock Personalisation (including favourites). **Incentive 2** - Create a wallet: The 2nd incentive will be at the point of install, where a user will be prompted to configure the in-App wallet. The incentives to drive adoption at this stage are that owning a wallet enables the user to purchase an NFT. **Incentive 3** - Buy an NFT: Once the wallet is set up, the user can opt to buy an NFT in the Marketplace and benefit from enhanced reward accumulation opportunities and in-app experience. Without a wallet or NFT, users will still be able to use the App, just like any other SatNav, however, they will be prompted once every 10 days, asking if they want to set up their wallet or purchase an NFT. In addition to this, without a wallet or NFT, the user will receive a journey summary at the end of each trip showing the rewards they would have acquired if they owned an NFT. \ **App UI** The DriveSafe App will function as a standalone free to download App, which will contain all the same features as the most popular Navigation Apps already on the market. Using the dashboard, users will be able to view data such as distance driven “safely”, rewards received and much more. The navigation function works simply, when you enter your destination, it shows distance to destination, routes, traffic warnings, estimated arrival time and estimated earnings/rewards if the traffic rules are followed. A favourites function (available after creating a login) allows the user to save frequently driven routes, they will also be able to save common places such as home, school, work, gym etc. Speed limit detection will be built into the app and a warning tone will be sounded when the speed limit is breached. If the driver persists on breaking the speed limit, then the reward function is paused in the App.
# Cars/NFTs
The car NFTs are available from the DriveSafe In-App Marketplace, there are also special edition NFTs available (from time to time), which will unlock attributes or features for the holder. There are 2 main car types, 1 based on Electric and 1 based on Fossil Fuel. From the 2 car categories, there will be thousands of NFTs to choose from. Fossil Fuel: Fossil fuel cars will be relatively cheaper to buy than their electric counter parts, however, the associated maintenance costs are higher and they also require fuel. **NFT Types** There will 4 NFT Rarity categories for each vehicle type: * Common * Uncommon * Rare * Legendary There are various ways to upgrade between rarity categories, you can do this by: * Driving safely and winning an upgraded NFT via a Mystery Box Prize. * Trading in vehicles of a category type for a vehicle from a rarer category. * Trading in vehicles plus tokens for a vehicle from a rarer category. * Driving safely, earning, then using your earnings to buy an upgrade.
Users can also customise and upgrade their NFTs in a variety of ways: * Attributes * Skins * Boosts * Accessories
**Attributes** 1. **Speed**: Affects the number of X tokens earned. 2. **Endurance**: Affects the maintenance costs as well as reduces accidents and random events. 3. **Safety**: By driving safely, you increase the chances of winning a mystery box. \ **Gem Sockets** Users will be able to unlock Gem sockets once they reach a certain level, gems inserted in the sockets will enhance NFT attributes. \ **There are 3 types of Gems:** 1. Speed 2. Endurance 3. Safety \ **Mystery Box** The Mystery Box is a loot box airdropped randomly while driving in Solo mode. It contains in-App tokens, gems, skins, upgrades etc. To be able to open the mystery box, you will need to pay a small fee with in-App tokens.
**Car Levels** There will be 20 levels. Renting will be available once the NFT reaches level 10, minting will be available once the NFT reaches level 5. Level ups will require in-App and governance tokens. Levelling up means getting more attribute points that can be used to augment either Speed, Endurance or Safety.
**Rent your NFT** You can earn passive income by renting your NFT to other drivers.
# Tokens & Economy There are 2 tokens in the DriveSafe economy $DriveS and $FUELS. $DriveS is the main governance token and is the backbone of the economy, supporting a variety of in-App features such as renting, buying or selling NFTs. $FUELS (Car FUEL) is the main utility token which will be used in-App (fuel and vehicle maintenance). Drivers can enter **tournaments** paying an entry fee in $DriveS. Drivers can enter **competition modes**, where each player is required to submit an equal amount of $DriveS into a prize pot, with the winner taking a prize and 1X is burned. \ **Drivers can evolve** and increase the value of their NFT by improving it's appearance and attributes, they can then re-sell their NFT at a profit on the DriveSafe Marketplace. $DriveS can be used to **stake and earn NFTs** via our staking platform. In the future, the amount of $DriveS required to stake will be pegged against stable coin values, making staking more affordable and accessible to everyone. Businesses can pay (using $DriveS) to promote their brands on pop-up billboards, so that when a driver goes past their business, a pop-up will appear in the App.
